Seminar/Workshop on the Manual of Operations for Screening Drug Testing Laboratories

The Seminar/Workshop on the Manual of Operations for Analysts of Drug Testing Laboratories will be conducted by the National Reference Laboratory – East Avenue Medical Center (NRL-EAMC) on the following dates:

The seminar/workshop will run from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

The seminar/workshop orients technical staffs of Drug Testing Laboratories on the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165), its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) and on the mandate of Department of Health relevant to RA 9165. The activity aims to equip participants with the skills and to impart knowledge of the standards of operations for drug testing laboratories.

This seminar is open for licensed chemist, chemical engineer, medical technologist and pharmacist. Interested parties outside Metro Manila may download the pre-registration form at and pay thru Postal Money Order (PMO), LBC or JRS using the following details:

Terms and Conditions (Applicable only for QC Training)

  1. The Seminar/Workshop fee is P4,500.00, inclusive of training kits, two (2) snacks & lunch. These shall cover for the reservation of food and related supplies during the seminar.
  2. The participant must pay the full amount upon registration. However, in the event that he/she fails to attend on the scheduled training date without prior notice (2 weeks before the scheduled date), the registration fee will be forfeited.
  3. In case there is a change in the name of participant, the NRL-EAMC should be notified in writing before the start of the scheduled date.
  4. In case of cancellation, please notify NRL-EAMC through mail, fax, and email or telephone one week prior to the actual training schedule. However, if the notice of cancellation is less than a week prior to actual training schedule the registration fee will be forfeited.

For the Registration for the training in the provinces, please contact the organizers. They will have their own registration and payment procedures. Fees may be higher than the QC rates.
